Paula in India

I'm on an assignment for my job to live in India. I tell my friends I'm "commuting" - 4 weeks in India, 2 weeks in the States to the office and to see my husband, another 4 weeks in India....and wanted to share what life is like in India. You'll also find additional blog entries along the left panel under Archives.

Music

Every morning as I am riding to work, I ask my driver to turn on the radio. There is a station called "Radio Merchi" that plays the hits. When I was in the office on Saturday, Devdoot offered me some tickets for a Musical event at a local area college called the ISBM - International School of Business and Media. They were having a rock concert outdoors on a medical grounds that they were calling "Crescendo 2007". JP, Vandana, Aidtya and I all went to the event on Sunday night. The tickets were actually VIP tickets, so we were escorted through the crowds to an area that had red carpet and plush seats. We sat in the second row and heard a local warm up band play Pink Floyd's "The Wall" and several other tunes before the 2 main artists came up. Both were great. Jyotiprasad took pictures of the artists - and I'll put them on the site once I get them from him.
